• To log you into your account and maintain your session.
• To save and retrieve your custom inventory of ingredients and favorite recipes.
• Breach Notification: We store your email address so that we can contact and alert you if we become aware of a security breach involving the Service's data.

3. Marketing & Third-Party Sharing

No Marketing: We do not send marketing messages, promotional emails, or newsletters.

No Third-Party Sharing: We do not sell, rent, or share your email address or personal data with third-party advertisers or marketers.

Given the hobbyist nature of this Service and the fact that we store minimal, non-sensitive personal data, we do not hold any formal security or privacy certifications (such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, or CCPA/GDPR verified compliance). We implement standard development practices, but users should understand that this Service does not carry enterprise-grade security assurances.

5. Your Rights & Deletion

If you wish to delete your account and all associated data, you may contact the operator, and we will purge your user directory.
